Misty May is a Danish company established in 2009 by Trine Habel.

Trine has worked for more than 14 years as a fashion designer.

The idea for Misty May was conceived back in 1971 when Trine received a pair of red clogs with studs for her 9^th birthday.

At that time she was living in Greenland, and it was impossible to find clothes which could match those fantastic clogs. At the bottom of the packaging from Denmark there was a knitting machine which could fulfil Trines wish of having trendy clothes. 

After a few weeks, the first Misty May design was made by Trine.

Many years later when the clogs and knitting machine were put away and Trine had worked as a designer for several large international fashion brands, Misty May arose again from the wish for making clothes created from stories. Not stories about those treasured red clogs but the stories about everyday life.
