Payment

At mistymay.dk you can pay with the following payment cards, Dankort and Visa Dankort + Mastercard. In addition, you can pay with Mobile Pay and PayPal. + Bank transfer. 

At Misty May, all your card information is encrypted with the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Protocol. 

This means that unauthorized persons can not read your card number or other information during the transaction with NETS. 

Payment will only be deducted from your account when the item has been shipped. 

All prices at mistymay.dk are quoted in Danish kroner and include 25% VAT. 

Once you've paid, we recommend that you print your order confirmation immediately. You will also receive an email confirming your order within a few minutes.


Shipping and Delivery Time in Denmark

We charge a small shipping fee of 39 danish kroner within the borders of Denmark. All items are shipped with PostNord or GLS to a parcel box near you. If you prefer home delivery within the borders of Denmark you have to pay 49 danish kroner. You will alway have a tracking no. so you can follow the ordre.

We strive to ship your goods within 1-3 business days. 
But in general we try to pack and ship the same day if the order is posted before 9.00. 

Please note that deliveries to Bornholm and other small islands may in some cases take up to 3 days. 

However, timely delivery requires PostNord and GLS to comply with day to day delivery. 

Misty May can not be held liable for delays at PostNord or GLS. 

If we receive the return package due to incorrectly stated address, we charge 39 kr in freight and administration fee to resend the package.

Please confirm that the contents of the package are not corrupted upon receipt.

Shipping and Delivery Time to EU Countries

You pay by Mastercard, Visa-card, bank transfer or PayPal. 

Write an email at sale@mistymay.dk if you want to shop at the store by bank transfer bank, then you will receive bank details. 

Shipping abroad costs about 90-400 danish kroner. This rate may vary depending on the size, weight and country. You will see the actual price when you type in your country at check out.

Delivery time between 3-6 days. We ship with GLS or PostNord.

Shipping Greenland and other Countries outside EU

You buy without VAT when you are shopping from Greenland, and other non-EU countries.

Write a mail till sale@mistymay.dk and we will provide you with a code which deduct you the Vat. Add the code into the discount field, at check out. 

The shop can not deduct the VAT automatically, so you have two opportunities :

1) Ask for the Vat code, and the Vat will be deducted at check out.

2) Pay the full amount, BUT we will only raise the purchase price without VAT. The balance remains at the card you paid with at the time of the purchase. We can see your shipping address.

Pay by bank transfer.

If you choose to pay with bank transfer, send a email to sale@mistymay.dk, and we will provide you with bank details and the price of the product without VAT.

We ship with PostNord to Greenland. You can choose between plane or ship, depends on how fast you want your ordre. By Plane to Greenland, the price will be 475 kr for 1-5 kg, below 1 kg the price will be 254 kr. Shipping time by plane takes approx.4-6 days.

You are responsible for the return shipping cost regardless of the amount, + expenses for custom clearance if you return the item to Mist May in Denmark.

Other countries outside the EU:

The shipping rate is stated when you enter which country to ship to.

For US citizens, be aware that there may be custom restrictions regarding seal skin products. So write an email to us for more info, before shopping.

You are responsible for the return shipping cost regardless of the amount, + expenses for custom clearance if you return the item to Mist May in Denmark.

Returned and Partial Right of Cancellation

Misty May gives 14 days full return, also on retail sales. 

You choose whether you want the money back, or switch to another item. 

This is valid from the day you receive the item. 

The item must be returned in unused condition with hinges and in original packaging.
Boots and shoes should be returned in the original packaging / shoes box. 

The shoe box must be packed securely and must not be used as a shipment box as it is damaged and can not be used again. 

If the shoe box is used as a return shipment box, we will deduct 100 kr from the amount we credit you.
The product must not be washed, smelt of smoke, food or otherwise appear as used. 

In addition, you must send the attached return slip fully completed, which you will find in the package with your item. 

Note we do not receive packages sent per. COD. 

We recommend that you return with Post Nord as a package mail so that you can track the package. 

It is your assurance that the product is safe for us. You are responsible for the package until we have received it. 

Once we have received the item and approved the return, we will ship the full purchase amount to your account within 1 business day. 

We will only refund for the credit card that the item has been purchased with. This is to avoid the illegal use of stolen credit cards.

Remember to save the mail receipt as documentation for the item has been shipped. You are responsible for returning the item. 

Partial right of withdrawal. If you have bought, for example, 3 different items, and regret one item, we do not refund for the already paid freight of 39 kr paid at the time of purchase. 

In the case of unsolicited goods in the shipped package, and therefore returned to Misty May Aps, the amount paid will be returned to your account, minus shipping. If you wish the to purchase the item anyway, please place a new order.

Returned Christmas gifts 2023

Christmas gifts purchased during the period November 24.th to December 24.th 2022, may be exchanged or returned, before Friday 5.th of January 2024. The full amount is credited to the credit card the item is paid with. If you buy over 800 DKK, you can ask for a return label to be sent by mail. This is only applicable within the danish border. For purchases under 800 DKK, you will be responsible for the return costs. The item must be returned as described in the Returned item.

Complaints

All goods are subject to the purchase law rules for 24 months right of complaint. 

The right of advertising means that you as a customer can complain about defects in the item which have occurred within 24 months of the purchase. 

However, Misty May must report mistakes that should be discovered by usual inspection of the product within a reasonable period of time and no later than 72 hours after receipt. 

The item can subsequently be returned on Misty May's bill for exchange, or crediting. In case of complaints, Misty May is responsible for the return costs reasonably. 

The warranty does not cover when faults, damages or wear occur due to improper use, improper wash, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

If we fail to find a solution, you can file a complaint to, for example, the Competition and Consumer Agency's Center for Complaints Solutions, Carl Jacobsens Route 35, 2500 Valby, via www.forbrug.dk 

You can also use the EU Commission's online complaint portal, which will, however, mainly be relevant if you are a consumer domiciled outside Denmark. You can find the complaint portal here: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ .
